Servus! 

Let me take you on a journey through the heart of Every Last Crumb Cakery and how my lifelong passion for food blossomed into the creation of my own cozy Cakery.

Allow me to introduce myself a bit: I wear many hats here—I’m the head baker, culinary maestro, or simply, the one who delights in crafting magic from a handful of ingredients in the bustling kitchen headquarters of Every Last Crumb. Originally trained as a Trainer & Assessor, I made the bold move to Sydney back in November 2010. After six years in the corporate world, I surrendered to my true calling, following in my Mama’s footsteps trading in my corporate attire for an apron.

Growing up on a dairy farm in the heart of Bavaria, nestled in the Hinterland of Munich instilled in me a deep-rooted appreciation for fresh produce. I learned early on the value of hard work; from planting seeds to harvesting crops. The contrast in taste between mass-produced and homegrown ingredients is something I hold dear, and I owe a tonne of gratitude to my parents for fostering this appreciation in me.

After countless quests to find cakes and savory delights that matched my standards for taste, presentation, and quality ingredients, I identified a gap in the market longing to be filled. Inspired by my Mama’s recipes (yes, she runs her own baking business and I have had my fair share of cake re-dos to meet her impeccable standards) and fueled by my love for Australia’s outstanding produce, I took a leap of faith and launched Every Last Crumb in July 2016.

What makes Every Last Crumb Cakery truly stand out, you ask? It all boils down to one word: taste.

I am deeply passionate about crafting delectable, wholesome cakes from scratch, right in my own kitchen. My mission? To use fewer sugary and processed ingredients and instead celebrate the bounty of locally sourced whole foods. I thrive on the excitement of experimenting with new ingredients, constantly evolving classic recipes to sheer perfection, ensuring that every crumb brings you pure joy.
